Vivid 09 - It was vivid, all right!

We went to the city for Vivd Sydney '09

Vivid Sydney is an annual event in Sydney, where artists light up famous landmarks in Sydney with special lighting and create light sculptures. There was meant to be light and music, but we didn't hear any music of significance... maybe it was masked by the sound of children playing...

First we watched a symbolic re-enactment of the Three Bees catching fire, exploding and sinking...

Drummer's delight

Some of you may know our son Jayden is learning the drums...

C: "OK, let's!"

"Oh cool, I'm winning..."

"No, I'm winning..."

"No, *I'm* winning, because your hippo keeps dropping its balls"

"No, *IIIIIIII'm* winning, because your hippo keeps vomiting its balls"

"You know, when hippos vomit, there's a lot of vomit"

"Yeah, and it's really stinky"

"How do you know?"

"I know, because it stinks"

"Well, your hippo is vomiting now too"
